Intermediate Risk: Total blood cholesterol level 200-239 mg/dL (5.13-6.13 mmol/l). Approximately 33% of adults fall under this cholesterol level.
High risk: total blood cholesterol level 240 mg/dL (6.14 mmol/l) and over. You have two times the danger of coronary heart ailment.About 17% of adults fall under this cholesterol level.
LDL Cholesterol Levels:
Good level: LDL cholesterol level lower than 129 mg/dL ( 3.31 mmol/l) is good. If your LDL level is less than 100 mg/dL (2.56 mmol/l) that is considered even healthier.
Borderline Unhealthy: LDL cholesterol level 130 to 159 mg/dL (3.33 to 4.08 mmol/l) is Borderline.
High Risk: LDL cholesterol level 160 to 189 mg/dL (4.10 to 4.85 mmol/l) is considered high risk.
